About Us
The idea for No Knob™ began while taking care of my sister who tested positive for (and was very sick for a month with) Covid-19 in the early days of the pandemic. Another family member – a retired trauma surgeon who was called back to the frontline of the busiest Covid ICU in NYC – was also at risk.
Keeping our home germ-free was not just necessary, it was critical. For all of us.
The initial warning to not touch our faces had us washing our hands incessantly. We even began wearing gloves when we could find them. As caretaker, I had to figure out a quick, safe and easy way to protect my hands from coming into contact with germs and bacteria that I feared bringing home and transmitting to my family.
I created the No Knob™ to keep my hands as germ-free as possible. And yours, too. So we can all safely touch public knobs, buttons, handles and keypads. And more importantly – the shoulders, hands and faces of the ones we love and care for most.

WHY DO I NEED THE NO KNOB ™?
80% of infectious diseases are transmitted through unclean hands. And over 2 million bacteria can be found on a single handle. While it’s believed that washing your hands with soap and warm water is the best protection - you won’t always have easy access to a sink. IS IT EASY TO GRIP SURFACES WITH THE NO KNOB™?
Yes. The No Knob™ has embossed ridges on the gripping surface and its pliable, soft silicone is flexible enough to grab and squeeze large things like gas pumps or grip small latches you might find in a public restroom.
